Spanish Immersion Programs
Methodology
Our program has achieved the hightest levels of success thanks to its main components, framed in a methodology that focuses mainly on play, and emphasizing on the child´s happiness and emotional health above all.

Music

Music is a language that most children love and enjoy. The melodic and rhythmic patterns of music provide exercise for the brain and help develop memory. Through appropriate musical activities the child becomes involved and his language capacity increases, the brain's attention to rhythmic patterns and the development of hearing. At the same time, it promotes communication, attentive listening, as well as the coordination associated with plaing different musical instruments.
Puppetry

Through the use of puppets, children are encouraged to actively practice their oral skills. In this way a high level of interaction and active participation can be achieved. Puppets give children more comfort in communicating through a third party (in this case, the puppet) since they will feel less judged, more likely to participate and want to interact in a more relaxed and stress-free way... and above have lots of fun!
Dance and Movement

Providing opportunities to incorporate movement into our sessions allows children to build a strong connection between their bodies and their brains. Movement is key to stimulating brain development in children, promoting connections between the two hemispheres. Movement plays an important role in language development because early communication is completely physical and consists solely of gestures and expressions. It also helps expand early vocabulary by introducing children to simple nouns and verbs.
Imaginative Play

Role-playing is a valuable learning tool for children and is an integral part of the child's learning process and development, allowing them to expand their life experiences by taking different roles within the game.
Role-playing is fun, but it's also an important part of child development. There are four areas in which role-playing enhances development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and linguistic. Children negotiate with their friends about what roles to play, and learn to work together.
Fun hands-on learning

While collaboratively using and 'playing' with different materials and hands-on games, children are encouraged to practice language, and this is achieved through a variety of teaching resources, such as puzzles, lotteries, vocabulary dominoes, letters, flashcards, cognitive games, educational toys, etc., all used in groups and under the guidance of the instructor to promote the language interaction. Our hands-on colorful and fun teaching aids offer children endless opportunities to observe, play
with specific materials and experiment with different skills and learning areas.
Storytelling and role-play

Through storytelling, children learn new words and sounds every day as they are exposed to many opportunities
that provide with rich language content, from exciting and engaging stories and books to other types of storytelling materials.
There is extensive research on the benefits of reading and children's immersion in early literacy, and the benefits extend of course to language teaching as well.
